Ophelia adopted, Oreo sick, P litter!
Aug. 18th, 2009 08:30 pmGood news first, Ophelia has been adopted!
Our poor Oreo has caught a little cold though. We offered to take her back home to get well, and found out that the shelter had a sudden influx of mother cats and babies. After some thought we decided we could probably fit another little family in our home.
Meet the P litter!
Momma, who we've named Partly. She's partly orange, partly black, partly tan... and her mouth is partly black and partly orange. So cute. She is really sweet.

Now the babies. One torti, two orange, one orange with white feet, and one tuxedo kitty! They are about two and a half weeks old. OMG. Cute alert!
Here they are in the rolling cage. When Oreo is feeling better, we'll move them into the bedroom. They will remain completely apart from Oreo and we'll use antibacterial gel between handling Oreo and handling these kittens so that they don't catch Oreo's cold.
